DBT JRF Exam Date 2023
The Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, has officially announced the exam date for the BET 2023. The exam will be administered online on April 23, 2023, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, lasting a total of three hours. Candidates who have registered to take the exam must arrive at their designated test centres by 8:00 am, as nobody will be permitted to take the test after that time.
DBT JRF 2023 Exam Pattern
The Biotechnology Eligibility Test 2023 will be conducted online. There will be a total of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Section A (General Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, Analytical, Quantitative Ability, and General Biotechnology) and 150 MCQs in Section B (Domain Knowledge), with aspirants required to attempt all of the MCQs in Section A and only 50 MCQs in Section B.
Each question will be worth three points, and because there is a provision for negative marking, one point will be subtracted for each erroneous response. Examiners will only use English as the medium of instruction, and candidates will have three hours to complete all of the MCQs.
